We spend years investing in academic tutors and extra lessons, but in today’s competitive world, top marks are often the baseline. What truly sets a young adult apart is demonstrable leadership, real-world resilience, and a strong sense of purpose.

This is the gap the Youth Nations Senior Program is designed to fill. For students aged 16-18, our camp is not just a holiday; it’s a pre-professional experience that equips them with the tools to “Lead the Adventure” in their own lives.

More Than a Camp: An Investment in Their Future CV

While the setting is the great outdoors, the curriculum is built for future success. Participants in our senior program gain:

Tangible Leadership Experience: They don’t just learn about leadership; they practice it. This includes facilitating group discussions, mentoring younger campers, and managing team challenges—all experiences that translate powerfully to a CV or university application.

Critical Soft Skills: Through our advanced Life Design workshops, they develop crucial skills in strategic thinking, conflict resolution, public speaking, and emotional intelligence—the very skills employers and universities seek.

A Powerful Peer Network: They connect with other driven, forward-thinking students from across the region, building a network of future leaders and changemakers that can last a lifetime.

As one parent noted after their son’s experience, “The leadership certificate and the concrete examples he could discuss in his university interview were invaluable. He didn’t just go to camp; he gained a competitive edge.”

The “Why” Behind the Adventure: Intentional Skill Development

Every activity at camp is a practical lesson. The high ropes course isn’t just about courage; it’s about trust and communication. Planning a team strategy for the obstacle course isn’t just about winning; it’s about project management and collaborative problem-solving.

We create a mature environment where older teens are given significant responsibility, empowering them to step into their capabilities and build the self-confidence required to thrive in their next chapter.

A Safe Space to Step Up, Supervised by Experts

We understand that entrusting your nearly-adult child to any programme requires absolute confidence. Our partnership with Camp Wildside provides a secure, controlled environment. Our facilitators are not just activity leaders; they are mentors trained to challenge and guide older teens through complex team dynamics and personal growth. With 24/7 support and a professional code of conduct, we provide a safe container for this critical leap in independence.

Give Them an Experience That Counts

This December, move beyond simply filling their holiday. Offer them an experience that actively builds their future.

Our 5-day camp from December 11-15, 2025, is an all-inclusive leadership intensive. The fee of R4,500 covers transport, accommodation, all meals, and all programmed activities, including specialised leadership workshops.

Is your future leader ready to build their story and stand out from the crowd?

Equip them with the skills, confidence, and network to lead their own adventure.

👉 Click here to learn more about our 16-18 Leadership Program and secure their spot for a transformative December.

As a parent of a 16–18-year-old, your focus is rightly on the finish line: matric success and a promising future at university or in their career.
